A Limited Edition Jacket! 2011 marks the 30th anniversary of the classic film featuring that iconic fedora-wearing archaeologist, and US Wings is proud to celebrate this milestone by introducing our 30th Anniversary Antique Indy-style Legend jacket! This jacket is based on the specs of one of the original movie jackets from three decades ago. Following the specs of our 30 year old pattern to the letter, we painstakingly recreated this classic jacket using lambskin from the mountains of south-central Asia. This ultra-lightweight leather is a US Wings exclusive (and not available on the open market). The leather has been hand-worked and hand-stretched to give it a luxurious level of softness & suppleness that must be seen to be fully appreciated. Also, the hand-aging antiquing process really brings out the leather's varied grain & subtle color variations for that authentic "antique" appearance.
Features include two front cargo pockets with original-style pocket flaps, side-entry handwarmer pockets, pleated action back for freedom of movement (with correctly-sized small side gaps), small yoke on back panel, original-length side adjustment straps with rectangular sliders, an interior pocket, nylon lining, and a brass zipper. And like the original movie jacket, it features a shorter overall length and a trimmer, more tailored fit in the body & sleeves.
The uniqueness and the outstanding quality of the leather (along with the craftsmanship that went in to producing it) is what sets this jacket apart from all other adventurer jackets. We can only produce this jacket while our supply of this leather lasts, making this a true Limited Edition.

US Wings is proud to re-introduce our authentic Indy-style "Legend" Jacket, based on the specs of one of the original movie jackets from three decades ago. Following the specs of our 30 year old pattern to the letter, we painstakingly recreated this classic jacket using striated lambskin leather, which has been hand-stretched to achieve its unique striated appearance. This results in a wonderfully "grainy" and rugged-looking jacket (and no two jackets will look exactly alike). The leather is also designed to age rapidly as you wear it, giving the jacket that proper "vintage" look!

The leather, graining, and hand-aged antiquing process makes these truly beautiful jackets to behold, but they're also tough & rugged enough to stand up to your kid's adventures! This jacket is built to last, so it can be handed down or re-sold once your child outgrows it.
Note: a size XL will also fit an adult male or female 5'5" in height and weighing 120-125 lbs.
